Have you become curious about someone from your past? A coworker or old classmate? A secret crush in high school or college who you never got around to talking to?
Maybe you would love to contact them but you are not sure how or what steps to take. If you don’t have a phone number or address, you are left to search for them on the Internet, which is an extremely vast area.
It can be a real puzzle to find someone’s email address.
Fortunately, there are some ways around the problem. One way that I have used before to find an old classmate, and it actually works pretty well, is to use one of the many class reunion sites that are available all over the place online. A quick check on a search engine such as Google or Yahoo will show you quite a lot of results for schools email address list such sites as they are quite popular at both colleges and high schools. These are normally used to gather information on former students so that the schools can hold periodic class reunions, but, since they also often contain forums and message boards, as a bonus you can also locate former classmates through this method of searching.
Once you are registered, check to see if there is a list of students posted online. Even if you don’t see your friend’s name listed, don’t worry because if there is a forum available at the site (there usually is), you can just post a message asking about him or her. It is very possible that someone will see your message and let them know you want to find them. It’s also possible their email address might simply be posted on the site for you to see.
You need to find a person’s email address, perhaps an old friend, but you have no idea what their address is. What can you do?
Well, the most obvious answer is you could just ask them what it is. But since you have come online searching for the answer to this question, we will assume that this option is not available for you. In this case, you will need to try some other tactics. 
If this is an old friend who you went to school with or someone you used to work with or maybe just a chat buddy you used to talk to online, it is possible to just ask someone else what their address is, maybe a mutual friend.
If that doesn’t work, you will want to start compiling a list of all the things you know about your friend. What school did they go to or what school are they attending right now, where do they work, who are their previous employers, what nicknames do they go by, what other last names have they used, and what are their hobbies. The reason and you will compile this list is because you can put these things into the search engines online and see what comes up. A lot of times people will put this information into profiles at different places on the Internet, and this is one way that you can find a person’s email address.
If these methods don’t work and you still need to find your friend’s email, you may have to resort to one of the paid services. The good thing about these services is you can input a name and have the address in a minute or two. It’s a lot less hassle and you can find just about any person’s e-mail address you need in just a moment.
